Retrofit and/or Troubleshoot Existing Systems
Suppose your production manager wants to try out a new solvent in your degreaser, or your maintenance person suggests that you are not recovering as much solvent as you were the previous month. Give the experts at Process Engineering Services, Inc. (PES) a call and we will send one of our field technicians to your facility. We will check every aspect of the carbon adsorption and solvent recovery system. Samples of carbon can be collected to determine the carbon activity level (an indication of the adsorptive capacity of the carbon bed). Steam flow levels, condenser temperatures, proper valve operation and programmable logic controller operation can also be verified to insure that system operating parameters are consistent with design parameters.

PES is also in constant contact with numerous solvent cleaning facilities as the need to increase or decrease solvent cleaning capacity makes certain used systems available. PES purchases quality used systems and refurbishes these systems for re-sale. In most cases, these systems have been maintained under PES's quarterly preventive maintenance program (QPMP) which means that PES is intimately familiar with the system and can determine if a used system will meet a clients anticipated needs.
